Who runs this site

This site is written and run by the person behind the Desi auf Deutsch channel. Write to [email protected], which is read by me and nobody else. A direct message on Instagram also works, though email is better for anything you may want a record of.

What this site is

It is a guide to studying in Austria, written from my own experience of moving from India to Austria as a student. Everything on the public pages is free to read.

I am an educational mentor sharing my lived experience, not a licensed immigration lawyer or visa agent. Nothing here is legal or immigration advice. Rules change, cases differ and your university and the Austrian authorities are the only sources that decide your case. Confirm everything against them before you act on it.

Refunds

Templates are not refundable. They are digital files, delivered to your email the moment the payment clears. Once a file has been sent it cannot be returned or un-read, so a completed purchase is final. Please read what is in each document, and look at the preview, before you buy.

Calls and document reviews are not refundable either. Instead, a call can be moved once, up to 24 hours before it starts, from the link in your confirmation email. There is no refund for cancelling a call or for missing it. If I have to cancel and cannot offer you another time you are happy with, you get your money back.

Two things are not refunds and are always put right. If your payment went through and no file arrived, or the wrong file arrived, tell me and I will send the right one. If you were charged twice for the same thing, the duplicate is returned. In both cases email [email protected] with the payment reference shown on screen after you paid.

Nothing here removes a right you have under Indian law that cannot be signed away.

Paid items

These apply to anything bought through this site.

• A call is a single session of the length stated, on Google Meet, at the time you booked. The link comes by email and in a calendar invite once you have paid.
• A document review is my written comments on what you send, returned by email within 48 hours of your payment. It is an opinion, not a guarantee of admission.
• Only upload documents that are yours to share, and leave out anything I do not need to see, such as passport or bank account numbers.
• No outcome is guaranteed. Nothing bought here makes an admission, a visa or a residence permit more likely as a matter of fact, and nothing here is sold on that basis.
• Templates and written material stay mine. You may use them for your own applications. You may not resell them, publish them or pass them on.

What you agree to

• Give accurate information when you book something, so the time is useful.
• Do not copy the content of this site and publish it as your own.
• Do not use anything here to mislead a university or an authority.

Links to other sites

This site links to universities, government pages, YouTube and other services. I do not control them and I am not responsible for what they say or do.

Limits

The site is provided as it is. I do not promise it will always be available or free of errors, and I am not liable for a decision you take based on it. Where the law does not allow that limit to apply, it does not apply.

Changes

These terms can change. The date at the top says when the current version took effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means the new version applies.

Which law applies

The law of India applies. This does not take away any protection you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
